Paris Saint-Germain is marching towards its 11th French league title, its ninth in 11 years! The Parisians have made it three wins in a row and, taking advantage of their rivals’ missteps, now have an 8-point lead at the top of the Ligue 1 standings.

PSG will play this round away to 15th-placed Brest, a team that in the previous round scored their first win, 1-0 at Strasbourg, after five rounds in which they had only two points.

PSG coach Christophe Galtier was told earlier this week that he would be unable to count on the services of injured Brazilian Neymar until the end of the season.

Marseille, Monaco and Lens continue the battle for second place, which guarantees a place in next season’s Champions League. Marseille, in second place in Ligue 1, will be visited by 16th-placed Strasbourg. Third-placed Monaco, who got just one point from the last two rounds, will play at home to eighth-placed Reims, who are unbeaten in their last 18 games! Fourth-placed Lens, who has managed just one win in the last seven league rounds, will play this round at 11th-placed Clermont, a team that has collected four points in the last two rounds. Lens has not lost in its last seven meetings with Clermont.
With only two wins this season and only 10 points accounted for, Angers are as good as relegated.
